When I began this blog, (almost one year ago on August 23) my plan was simple: to record my daily walks in nature with photos of the natural world, posted with my spontaneous reflections inspired by my photos. I committed to doing this daily, no matter the weather, no matter the place, no matter the time of day. There may be only two, possibly three days, where I had to post this blog very early in the morning on the day following my pictures and writing. Otherwise, my pictures have been posted, some days with many, some days with just a few words.

This blog will, in ways I don't yet envision, change on August 23. It will be an ending and a new beginning. It's the day I look forward to reviewing and reflecting on a year of #mydailywalks in nature.
