#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Morning at the Brook
Whew! What a day! I loved this day, beginning to end. Starting with Wave up at 6:00 a.m. and an early walk to see the river, the beaver, the heron the ducks. Except we only saw the ducks. But our feet were happy in the mud. Pancakes, departure for school. I put Taylor Swift on Pandora and we listened all the way to school. I got the sweetest goodbye at the door. I am so fortunate to have my aunt Dotty––my last living aunt. I drove to Connecticut to see her today, and I’m so glad I did. We had our usual long, deep talk. She’s a mother figure. I’m so glad for our time together. Long ride home, but home in time for pickle with family and friends and I had a blast playing. Dinner after was special. Catching u with everyone. For some reason the blog I posted last night just vanished. Weird! I’m obsessed with White Lotus. Waiting for the finale of Season 3. Re-watching Seasons 1 and 2. Long talks while in the car today. Great talks—my brother, my daughters (two!) my dear friend. Just an amazingly rich day. And I’m so grateful. Window open tonight. Spring fresh air slipping in.
