Black Swallowtail in the Butterfly Bush

Perri came home glowing from her early morning swim with the eagle. She had gone before I woke up. And I didn’t end up swimming after all as I got involved in cleaning up the porch and other outside chores in the lovely sunshine. I transplanted a bunch of plants including black-eyed Susan, butterfly bush, and bee balm. It was hot work but I had a good time being outdoors. In the afternoon I tried to work on a poem. I did work on a poem, but it was just head work, not page work. Pickle and dinner tonight with friends outdoors. I am tired tonight. And grateful for a beautiful day.
