#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Late Afternoon Moon 2026
I have been making a collage for a couple of hours and my eyes are bleary tonight writing this. Frank gone before I woke up on his journey for a few days. Wave in my bed as his mom had to go out. And it was snowing! Such a lovely snow, unexpectived and pretty to welcome the new year! Happy New Year! It’s 2026! Though today didn’t feel holiday-ish, and that’s ok. I was busy all day. Playing with Wave and caring for him. And shoveling. My first big shovel of the season. Felt my dad with me, knowing he’s be worried if the steps and the4 walk weren’t properly cleared, so I did my best. Just enough snow for another ski! Mid-day I got out for a short one, anyway. Then off to do returns at various stores with my youngest. I so rarely go into stores. It was such a nice time to get caught up with her. Then home to a quiet meal and now my writing retreat at home to begin soon after I watch Wave in the morning tomorrow. I worked on a poem this morning too—revision revision. I am pleased with where this one has gotten. Long talk with a good friend in early evening. Then got lost in collage making. No interruptions. I had so much fun. I’m so grateful for you, my readers. I wish you a happy new year, with much affection and appreciation!
