It’s so fun to be away from home relaxing with friends in this lovely coastal town of Southern Maine. Up early, we went out for bagels and had a lovely sit down breakfast, a rare thing for me, and we played pickle on brand new town courts in the muggy overcast morning. I went for a solo bike ride up to Prout’s Point and around for about eight miles, Then our friends took us out on a motor boat in Portland Harbor sightseeing. Talking talking talking, old memories, old friends, how we’ve raised our kids together and plans for the future. We walked and drove all the sights of Portland and had dinner at a Portuguese restaurant by the water. Started our meal outdoors and then were taken inside under a sudden soaking downpour. We’ve had all kinds of Maine weather today. We depart early tomorrow, sadly, but so happy to have come!
