#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Black Swallowtail Collage
Kind of an eventful night with a spider scare in the middle of the night that required a grandmother intervention with a broom. Grandmother won. So there was interrupted sleep all around, and an early wake up for school. And a boy who wanted me to “pause time” so he could go to the bathroom and not waste his little bit of before school time. He had pancakes from me and a smoothie from his mother and we both walked him to the bus stop in the summery morning, and he acted out the spider crisis from the middle of the night for his friend, Gabe, and they went happily onto the bus together. I had a long walk in the woods. Then drove to Wellesley where I met up with some of the writers from my Charles River writers and we just had a nice time to talk and. catch up from the summer. Home to run Israeli group and welcome a new member. Them prepped for my Grandmother As Muse workshop tonight which was excellent, as usual. Squeezed in a nap before dinner to make up for the lost sleep. Wave gone again for a couple of days. Tomorrow I hope to swim. The pond water has been so warm and inviting. I love swimming in September.
