Map of Tiny Mysteries

Gratitude is more than a practice

it's so many directions to choose

walking every rocky narrow path

among swamp frozen lifeless and

wildflowered meadow or prickered

thicket woods in all the tiny miseries

of everyweather -

It's following instead a trail of tiny

mysteries into mind numbing confusion

caused by every one unlabeled tree among

such a towering crowd of generous

all the evergreen and hardwood

you hope to praise by name

Who is dreary on such a festive winter river?

With gratitude, this morning, I hear from a fan and I'm so touched that my photos make a difference in anyone's day.
