Today I'm so happy #mydailywalk photos are being featured on the @wearewomenwriting Instagram feed of the International Women's Writing Guild where I'm so proud to be a faculty and board member.

My creative process to taking photos of the beautiful mysteries I encounter #newthisday on my walks in nature (wherever I am), is similar to my process of writing poetry, prose and even this daily blog:

be spontaneous - but disciplined (just get to it, in any weather)

be curious, be willing to get messy,

be willing to be uncomfortable – keep going

keep my battery charged, follow my intuition

be delighted, be surprising

be patient. look. look closer.

look again, be enthusiastic, be energetic, be always near
