The Brook, Melting
It's suddenly warm this morning and almost all the snow is melted. For the first day since Christmas I'm not on my skis; wearing my hiking boots, I slog through slush and mud, stopping frequently to admire the shapes in the ice and on the ground. We walk for awhile in the wind and rain, thoroughly enjoying the beauty of the wet leaves.
