She has read my newsletter, sent early this morning, upon waking. “I’m glad you wrote that you printed the diary entry with Landon’s permission,” she says. “So that readers can really appreciate reading it, instead of feeling like you’re sharing a story you don’t have a right to share. Like, when you go into an antique shop and you read somebody’s old letters, but you feel uncomfortable, like you’re invading somebody’s privacy.” I was, when I asked him, yesterday, a little concerned he might say no. But he wrote back, LOL, yeah, it’s fine, and I was also happy I had made him smile.
