#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Autumn Leaves in Brook
Another day of snooze alarming. But we’re all up in time for Wave to get to school with a pancake and in a good mood. Me too, as I head out for my swim, and the pool almost all to myself. Sun on the brook’s autumn leaves makes a stunning show. I’m grateful for the walk and the photo that cheers me all day. I meet with the Ukrainian group, which is in a new phase. Our weekly group has ended and we’re navigating a new phase. What will we be? A few of us remain and the connection holds for now. In the afternoon I meet with a client and have a great session, and then drive to Easthampton to meet my sister on a visit to my beloved aunt and uncle. What a lovely visit we have, dinner at a nearby restaurant, and we go over old memories and laugh. I know my parents are glad we’re all together, really, in spirit. Home, the long ride in the dark, I listen to a new book on audible: Trust, by Hernan Diaz. Keeps me in good company all the way home. I’m blurry headed and needing sleep.
