#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
That moon of last night. Such clear skies, and it beams, nearly full, in through my bedroom window. I wake when I wake, no rush this morning. Charlie and I take a long walk in the cold, cold morning. Another stunning cloudless sky. All is relaxed around here, the feast day behind us, no schedule. I have a swim and the rest of the day is a slow and meandering pleasurable pace, visiting with Lilia and family, relaxing into the cold outdoors, warm indoors. We watch the first episode of “Fargo,” season five with my son. I never watch tv in the afternoon, but it’s a wintry thing to do, and fun. Rest and ease. There is ice on all the brooks and the river’s edge. The moon is a bright, imposing presence, and not yet full.
