The great part about waking up this morning was not having to rush to a plane that I can’t get on! And having Wave at home, wanting a breakfast. I drove him to school. And drove myself for a super wonderful swim at Kingsbury. Then time to get ready for my trip, easy peasy. Perri is with me. All was flow. We are here in Kansas City at the Power of Words of conference. She loved the speakers tonight, as did I. I present a workshop tomorrow and she’ll attend what she wants. We are very tired. It’s fun to be on this journey. I revised a poem for the manuscript on the plane. It’s one of the early ones. It’s time to dig into the entire revision, and today was my beginning of that. October is a busy month for working on this manuscript, charging ahead to the finish line.
