Boston Garden

My head, tonight, is buzzing and full. Frank home. So happy to have Frank home. And it has been such a full day of groups and then going to Boston with my daughters, a bridal afternoon. We met Franci’s future mother-in-law and sister-in-law in town and all went to her first dress shop. A mother’s delight, a delight for us all, that ritual in front of the mirror. That seeking process and the question––is this the dress? Well, of course she looked gorgeous in everything she tried on. No decision made, but lots to appreciate. And mostly, we all came away with a sense of Franci’s vision for the right dress. And we’re all on board with that. I loved being part of the support of how we all listened to what she was looking for and began to be truly delighted in her vision. So, the search continues. And the next happiest part of the evening, meeting Frank for dinner. He Ubered to meet us, and so our two daughters had a lovely reunion dinner with us and we got to share the wedding process and learn about his amazing trip into the wilderness of New Mexico on a horse. Lots of happiness, and yes, tension and tiredness too, as I go off to bed tonight. Oh! And a squirrel in the Boston Garden actually started to crawl up the leg of Perri’s jeans as we stood by the water! What the heck! These Boston squirrels. Who do they think they are, anyway?????
