Such wind today! So many trees down in the wind and rain storm. It was wet but mild and not gusting when I walked the track and captured these birds in the trees. This day has been rich and rewarding, culminating in my annual winter open readings with my Charles River Writers - ten years! By the fire, with the festivity of a delicious potluck. Friend and writers and listeners and children even. A deep experience of winter spirit and community. And I’m too tired to write more tonight! I promise to say more tomorrow.
