#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Wave is sleepy, wants his breakfast. I am happy to get him breakfast, and then go for my walk. I want my laps today too. So much green and red, buds and new leaves. The heron. Two male mallards bright heads on the brook, paddling quietly along. There is a mouse nest, three baby mice in my bluebird box and Frank and Wave and Perri don’t think they should be evicted. I’d much prefer to have a bluebird.I had a great session with a client, Jane, and then got caught up on admin. Coaxed back out into bright sunshine. Frank ordered a delivery of soil for the garden and Wave climbed the hill of it and threw some clods at me! The games we play. Frank and I drove on errands and I bought new plants for the kitchen area to replace the ones that died. And pansies for the front step. It’s time to take the Christmas greens to the compost. Tonight I’m bleary eyed from the gathering phase of what I hope will be two new poems. I’m in the restless & frustrated don’t know where this is going phase. Tired and need to close this computer and go to bed. The poems, if they are meant to come, will come. I’ll sleep on that.
