What a splendid almost fall morning to have the annual Farm Pond Admiral Funbelow perimeter swim! I went out the door into the early muggy sunshine and walked to Farm Pond. So much gold and red. I arrived on the beach feeling ready to go. There were about fifty swimmers, including my brother and his son. My brother thinks this is our 26th Funbelow. The water was very fresh and cool, but I didn’t get cold and was quite comfortable all the way around the pond. Relaxed and enjoyed myself completely. Then I walked home and it was even more golden in the late morning sun. Out for coffee with Frank and my youngest. A relaxing Saturday. In the late afternoon, just as the thunderstorm blew in, we played pickle, indoors to top off a very active day. Franci and Will played better than we did. It was close. I love this weather. This nearly autumn sun. And grateful for rain on all the plants.
