#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

Morning Atlantic View, Pompano Beach, Florida

Except for my morning walk along the beach and lunch with Frank by the pool I have been in our room at my computer all day. Have to have my manuscript and materials for next Sunday’s manuscript intensive workshop submitted tomorrow. Also, revised the newest poem, an ending poem. I keep thinking I’m done generating new poems. I think I have one more. So, I’m kind of brain-wasted and poetried-out. Losing my perspective. But I will be ready with my materials with most of the day tomorrow to work. My walk was nice. Not Nosara, but lovely. The sand very soft here, harder to grip. Nosara at low tide is the most fabulous walk on the hard-packed moils sand. I walked to a lighthouse in one direction, and to a pretty pier in the other. I’m listening to a new book about Emily Dickinson that I’m liking a lot. After Emily, Two Remarkable Women and the Legacy of America's Greatest Poet by Julie Dobrow. I had two good long talks with my daughter Perri which was nice. Our other two flew home safe and she picked them up late at Logan. Sweet. Frank is watching the Superbowl while I work. Time for rest.
