#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

Oh, I’m writing without a photo tonight. So be it. I haven’t take a single photo today and I don’t have the energy to make a new collage. So be it. I am now in Reston, VA, having checked out of Baltimore, finished AWP quite happily. Panels all day today, very good and worth it, thinking about my manuscript. Also seeing a few people, poetry friends, making connections. And talks with my daughters. And took an Uber from Baltimore to VA so I can have a couple of days with my Ukrainian friend. She gave me dinner and we had a nice talk and we have the day together tomorrow. How nice to finally see where she lives in the US since leaving Massachuseetts. I’m really pretty brain dead. My blog has suffered on this trip. But I have been soaking up the good literary juice to be had at AWP.
