Morning goose on the Charles

Mishaps with Chip. Someone failed to put him in his crate last night. I find the mess. Not Chip’s fault. A bit of a grumpy start to the day for me but it passes. Chippy and I go to the river. It’s cool and bright and I have my coffee with Chippie and the geese who are honking at us. I’m always glad Chippie gets me to the river as the fog is lifting and the river’s inhabitants are active. I do a little brush clearing while we’re out there. Then I have poetry workshop, which is satisfying. I get some good help on revision. After lunch, dash over to drop extra enchiladas I made last night for a friend who loves them. Then my swim. Prep for my group tonight. In the late afternoon Frank and i are both free and we whip up a buffet dinner we leave out for everyone so we can play pickle with Franci and Will. They kill us. Geez. But I have so much fun. I love playing with them. Then in to run my Tuesday night group. A very great cohort of writers. Wonderful end to the evening. And Chippie goes sleepily into his crate for the night.
