#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Frank told me this morning about something that happened last night: Frank had a tennis match on our court. A tough match, and he won. Home court advantage I told Frank. And apparently, home with his mom in the early evening while I was on my computer, Wave sat on the bench and watched Frank’s match. I had no idea. Very sweet. Tonight while I was making dinner Frank was out using his ball machine to practice his strokes. Wave went outside to practice with him. Sweet again. I ran a group tonight, the Journal of Expressive Writing. The feature included writers who contributed to The Nutmeg Anthology, Contemporary Poems of Connecticut. No writing today, but two clients as well, and it was my day to drive Wave to school—in the rain. We need the rain. But Wave doesn’t like to get wet. Had to change his clothes once after getting him to the car. Also, a good swim. A good swim is always a great part of the day. And I feel nicely tired at the end of the day. Sunshine tomorrow. Yay. Three collages accepted for publication in a journal today. Also yay.
