#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
What a wonderful wind blowing through the yard all day. Partly sunny. Wave comes in, his mother has to go out. I get him breakfast, a pancake with strawberries and he is cheerful and his grandfather comes home and takes him out for his wedding hair trim. The house is very quiet. I take Chippie for his walk. I am working on my second poem from the new project and I like working on this. I have a poetry session with a friend, we exchange writing and talk writing, and we seem to give and get good things from each other. I have a couple of clients. In the afternoon I swim in the pool and not in the pond because I sense a storm and don’t want to be caught in it. Frank and I run a wedding errand in the late afternoon and come home to find that Wave has a mild fever, isn’t feeling well and I’m grateful that if a bug has come into the house it has come a week before we leave for the wedding. After dinner I work again on the new poem and I have a draft. A first draft that I feel good about for the moment. A heavy downpour and wonderful thick and fast downpour of much needed rain, followed by a rainbow. Wave gets up off the couch to catch sight of the rainbow.
