#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

Up early, Wave being delivered to my care. Perri has to go out early. We have time. He wants me to watch The Lorax movie with him. A favorite. He can quote it. We can relax. But then I have to get into high gear to make his breakfast, make his lunch, help him dress and drive him. He’s a bit resistant. I’m pretty tired, and eager to get outdoors. Even though it’s drizzling and a bit dreary. I don’t mind. I want to work by the river clearing brush and I get lost in thoughts and feel very happy. One client today and one rescheduling. I have errands to do which take most of the afternoon. We continue to solve wedding questions. Franci is a very motivated organizer and planner. Wave home after school. And suddenly, as kids do, poses a random question: why are girls chests more private than boys? I tell him it’s because Mom’s nurse their babies, which isn’t a very good answer, but he wanted to pose the question more than he wanted an answer and he runs up the stairs. I make chicken and wine and we eat early. The time change is coming. The fire is on and the candles. We are in going into short day mode. After dinner he and I play a long list of games that involve my full presence, body and mind. Tag and fighting dinosaurs, playdough, red light/green light and more. And I am now very very tired. And the rain is heavily falling in the dark outdoors. And I have gotten no writing done today. Ooops. I’m glad for the rain. A restful music for end of day.
