#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
River & Red Maple Collage
It’s mild, and the door is open by my desk. Night, it’s dark. The wind blusters. I hear the gong in the garden being struck. It has been a busy, full, inspiring day of workshops. Four of them I led. All different. Started my play lab, ending my grandmother. What richness. Wave shouted, No eggs! No eggs! He wanted a crepe and that’s what he got before school. At the halfway point in my day, after my Israeli group I had an hour. I walked to the river, picking up sticks blown down by the recent winds. I broke dead branches off trees. It felt good to be near the river’s current in the fresh air. I swam again this morning. Saw, from my lane, my dear friend coming in for her swim and we shared a lane for laps together for awhile. Very nice. I took a picture at the river and a picture in the yard. the huge red maple in full color. Made this collage which makes me happy. The wind will blow all night and into tomorrow. November bluster.
