#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Morning Snow on the River
Snow! And scent of skunk around the river. Mild temperature. The skunk, was she/he drawn out? The snow is lightly falling on the water and the trees and the berries and the all over the wetlands. It’s so quiet. Nice quiet. I take a long walk. Woke early, worked on poems. Met some walkers in the woods. Loving the freedom of a mostly unplanned day to work on my writing. Frank on his way home. And Franci came in the afternoon to rehearse the monologues she read in my Play Lab Showcase in the afternoon online. Yeah, it was wonderful. All ran smoothly and all three of my actors nailed their parts. A great audience. I decorated the tree in the brief span between showcase and pizza, delivered by Will who picked it up in a nearby town. Frank home, and all but Wave had dinner around the table and a long lingering talk after. These Sunday dinners are really relaxing and jovial and deep and fun. By the fire. By the Christmas tree lights. And no dishes to clean up.
