#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Broken Window and Autumn Leaves, Former Medfield State Hospital
A little snow, a little rain when I went out this morning. Called to a walk. I returned home from a long, happy ramble. No poetry workshop again this morning, not til next week. But I did get plenty of work done today, writing admin as well as laundry and food shopping and a client and facilitating the open mic tonight. Kept busy. Made a chili for Frank and Perri, but Wave wanted turkey soup. I did get to work on a revision of the poem I workshopped Monday night. There was snow, there was rain, there was freezing wetness. No accumulation. But the excitement of seeing Wave’s smile this morning at the window as I showed him some white on the lawn. I made my son a photo collage as a happy birthday card. Texted my dear friend in Florida a happy birthday too. I loved being with the Journal of Expressive Writing Community tonight. Without having to leave the house in the dark and face the icy roads.
