There is cold that feels brutal. Walking in the woods if you accidentally swipe a branch of a tree it feels like a weapon. Brittle cold this morning. But it’s what I chose. I imagined the pool would make me feel wet and cold. I know better. But still it was nice to see the birds and the ice images in the wetlands before workshop. I had my poems ready. One of the two needs some re-imagining. I had some time to think after workshop and I could see this in a way I hadn’t. I had to jump right from poetry into my monthly Ukrainian group. Then jump from there into a session with a client. So, it was a busy day. Then I prepped for my evening workshop which I just led. It was really special. I also made Wave a chicken soup but it didn’t cheer him up. A good meal for a cold dark night. It’s supposed to warm up a bit tomorrow. I plan to get into the pool!
