Sunshine in my eyes waking up. What a relief! It stayed cool today and cloudy, with some rare and lovely moments of light from clouds. Wave and I went out early, after fighting dinosaurs. I wanted to let his mother sleep in. So we had the morning to ourselves. To the river, to the brook. Then we swam. He loet me do my mile. Then I had a long talk on the phone with a cousin I haven’t seen in many years who lives in Idaho. What a pleasure to connect with him! Talking over family roots and updates from our own living ones. I had time to work on one of my poems. Tonight, dinner with friends, great conversation and future plans. Home to Wave and fighting dinosaurs. A wonderful day. I offered my ear buds back to Frank. He said no, I need them. He will solve his ear buds soon.
