Afternoon at Farm Pond

Today, all day, the most lovely breeze. Blowing across the field in the sunshine, blowing across the pond in the sunshine. Such a perfectly refreshing breeze in through the windows, and they are wide open to the summer night tonight as thee sky goes pale blue and pink. Today I worked on my AWP Panel proposal, due Monday after my swim and working in the yard on the brush. A great day to work outside. In the afternoon I took Wave to Farm Pond and we swam in the coldish water and he made some friends and played and played happy and giddy with summer joy. Frank came up the driveway and saw me and Wave working together on clearing brush in the last hour before dinner. He parked and jumped on his tractor and helped us out, of course. Only Frank would fly all day, drive through traffic home from Boston, and jump onto his tractor before even taking his suitcase out of his car. We had a sweet dinner on the porch, just me and Frank and Wave while the fine breeze blew over us.
