#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Morning, Farm Pond
There is one happy kid running around my room tonight at bedtime. He has new transformers that he bought with money he earned by doing jobs with me, cutting brush and weeding. I had only one client scheduled today, so I spent most of the day outside. Starting with my own morning swim in the July fresh pond. Swam for an hour, a lush and lovely swim. Then, off to purchase some more hydrangea. Found only four. Did more weeding, brush clearing, and took on the planting of the hydrangeas. It was very hot and there was an occasional breeze and I got all but two of them into the ground and watered. I still need a couple more. When Frank got home at 6:00 from his flight I gave him dinner and then we walked out so I could show him everything I worked on. Then we sat and talked at the river, catching up. A heron lifted up from the riverbank into the sky. It was quite hot, but a little breeze rippled the river. We felt so grateful to be home.
