#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

A day that started with coffee and sunshine with Frank in Sherborn, and is ending in a hotel room in Ogunquit, Maine, in a hotel room with Frank. I knew this morning I would go for a walk. I cleared some brush first, then walked to the brook where I stopped and immediately took a deep, relaxing breath. Then I crossed the trestle bridge, there was such a cool and delicious breeze, and walked through the meadow with my friends, the Queen’ Anne’s Lace, the chicory, the black-eyed Susans, the swamp milkweed in bloom. I’ve been prioritizing swimming and yard work and gardening over walking, and it was heavenly to be back in the teeming meadow. We left Sherborn with Franci and Will for a wedding in Ogunquit in the early afternoon. A fun drive up with lots to chat about. We walked the Marginal Way which follows all along the rocky coast of Ogunquit. Splendid. Dinner, a party for the bride and groom. Here with close friends. So happy to be here in this gorgeous place for such a wonderful reason.
