#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Home and in bed at the end of a happy day, a happy, creative journey. Just dark now. House in very clean shape. Nice to come home to. Just Frank and Perri. Wave home tomorrow. My day started at 6 after a quite not full night’s sleep. Less busy today. Time to talk and mingle. I will miss the time I have had with Laura and Maureen and Myra and Lynne especially. And teaching my class. Today’s workshop was my putting our grandmothers on the page workshop, at the end of the day, the end of the retreat workshops, and it was very rich and dynamic. Great writing emerged. Then I hopped in my car and drove home. Easy, about three and a half hours. Over the Hudson River, Over the Connecticut River, home to the Charles River. Miss Charlie at the door and Brittany too. I haven’t seen my gardens yet. Tomorrow I’ll see how much they missed me. I will miss my wild rosemary tunnel. I walked six miles as my goodbye to the wildflowers and herbs of the Hudson River.
