Today, a walk, a swim, and lots of prep for tonight, my poetry reading at Ten Tres Books in Natick, a town next door. I presented four poems and then my daughter Franci performed poems from my book, jinx and heavenly calling. We had a full house. I’m so grateful to host Molly Saccardo and Kim at Ten Trees Books. And my daughter, my actor, my star. So fun to collaborate with her! So fun to do this particular reading. My friends who came, my brother, and even Perri and Wave. The open mic after was also a delight. A very intimate, joyful night, really. All about laughter and love. So refreshing. So uplifting. I’m really enjoying the photographer Sally Mann’s newest memoir on Audible. She’s funny and poignant and irreverent and brilliant. Art Work––On the Creative Life.
