#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
People who get down
on their knees to me
are the answers to my prayers.

Another early rising. It’s not yet light. Frank is off for early tennis. I sit outside listening to the monkeys howl while I choose and tweak two poem revisions to send off for workshop before my walk. Done. I take my bamboo walking sticks and go down the dirt road to Play Pelada. It’s not yet hot. The beach is not as busy this morning. The waves less fierce. I listen to some podcasts. I have a good busyness to the day with breaks ahead. I have a talk with a friend. Sun grows hot. Workshop discussion is sooooo helpful for my manuscript. My poems are working. We talk process as well as revision and I feel clarity and excitement. After, a quick lunch. Some bits of revision. Plan my Tues. night writers prompt material. I’m excited to facilitate. Then, a delicious nap by the pool. Then a relaxing swim. And Frank and I take the quad to Organico market so I can get something easy to make for dinner after group. I really enjoy riding the dirt roads with my arms around Frank’s waist in the late afternoon sun. (No sunset swim tonight, but that’s okay.) The market has such fresh and delightful food and it’s always crowded. Frank goes to more tennis, I’m so happy for him, and I go to group which is excellent. My prompt works very well. The sharing is deep and rich as is the writing. I light my candle for all those being harmed by ICE. I attend to the beauty of my little altar each day.
