#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Happy morning wetlands brook
Well, departure for the bus while I was in charge this morning was a fail. Just misjudged the timing and got to the end of the driveway as the bus pulled away. Distress from Wave whose favorite part of the day is his bus ride with Gabe. I drove him and he soon cheered up. Asked me if I’m almost a hundred years old. NOT even close. But we had a good conversation about aging. Sort of. He seemed to think that 100 is the cutoff. I tried to explain that there is no cut off. Not yet, anyway. Maybe someday. Anyway, I’d be happy to live to be 96. That’s my cut off. Off to school with him. Then I did get my walk and Wednesday is my maximally busy day and I had prep for groups and then groups and all my groups were really rich and rewarding as they always are. And by 5:00 I was truly pooped. It’s hard to sleep with the harvest moon beaming energy in all night long. Wave with me tonight for books and bed and off to the bus tomorrow where I hope to be on time.
