A morning frost and a cloudless day. I will have to bring my sun room plants in soon. Delaying as long as I can. A rough start for Wave. He made it to the bus stop, but not in his usual good mood. I had to cancel a group so I got extra time for my morning. Walked by seven mile walk over the Farm Street Bridge to the Death Bridge by my house. Under the blue sky the river shone. Met with the Israeli group, and it was very moving. Tonya and I prepared a warm-up we hoped would work well on this tragic anniversary of Oct. 7 attack by Hamas. And it did work as a comforting and supportive structure for grief. Then I had a board meeting and then my Grandmother As Muse which also went well. Outdoors after that to visit Frank where he was hitting balls on the tennis court. Stretched my legs and we had a nice chat and then had a relaxing dinner of leftovers together. Tomorrow I focus in the two weekend parties and it may be a few days before I can return to my writing. I would like to get my newest poem draft in shape for Monday morning. We shall see. The gatherings of the weekend are big ones!
