#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Looks like November, feels like June. Another lovely warm day, and my days are starting at 5:00 a.m. it seems. That’s when I’m waking. I don’t mind as it gets light at 6 and then I get the extra light that’s lost at night. Gosh, it’s stunning out there on the river. I went right to work this morning, digging back into the radically revised poem as I woke up thinking about it. Revised more in the early hours, and then from my walk brought home another thought. To Farm Pond through the woods, and also some on the street. This was an impulse after I started. It was so warm I knew I would enjoy a cold plunge, even though I had no bathing suit, I would improvise, and I did. And the beach was vacant, stored up and cleaned up and quiet, and the water was calm. Cold and calm and I plunged twice feeling the tingling, head to toe. Almost a 7 mile walk today, then home to prep for a coaching session, which went great, and then off to run errands before a WWC Board Meeting. Sigh. House too quiet without Wave who is back tomorrow. Rain forecasted and needed. But also warm air, and who knows. November refreshes.
