Alarm at :4:45! I hop out of bed to take my friend to Logan. We have coffee and talk all the way to the airport. Goodbye for now. An easy ride in and out, no traffic, of course. The sun is coming up when i go out for a ski. Well, we need some new snow. Three inches would be great. The trail is too fast and icy and clunky, but I stayed out and worked with it. Took my minor falls. Some birds in the wetlands. Cattails shredding from winter. Beech leaves gold on the snow in footstep pockets. Sun out. Bright and fresh. Then I hopped in the car again to drive to meet my sister and we went to visit my aunt. So, more great time with loved ones today. Except we discover my aunt’s new phone isn’t working. Ugh. She is very happy to see us though. She has had to be put on oxygen and we didn’t know about this. Breakdown in communication. Frustrating. We have a nice lunch with her. I tell Charlies stories and those always make her laugh. She wants to see Wave, and I wish I could have brought him. House very quiet tonight as I arrive home. Frank due home soon. Tonight I work on the manuscript a bit, and then have fun with a new collage, playing with my Costa Rica photos from my beach walks. Glad to be home. Concerned for my aunt. Grateful for my sister and all my good friendships.
