Dinner at Lagarta Lodge, last night in Nosara
Oh, no. Last day to spend the whole day here in this favorite place. I get out early for my walk. Quite windy and only one surfer out. Sand slaps my legs. The sun is nice. Gusts of wind threaten to blow me over. But I enjoy myself. I have my annual massage with George, a transformative experience. My friend Liz, on our first trip here, found George and we’ve all been seeing him yearly ever since. Everyone cheerful and healthy today. All relaxing. By the pool, by the sea. A sweet day. Some shopping, of course. Franci gets a a sundress and a bathing suit for her wedding. We go for sunset swim. The wind has died down, lots of surfers out. Then our two families head to a favorite restaurant for our final dinner. Early rising tomorrow. I had the most amazing dream last night, one of many on this trip. I dreamed that I dreamed that I fell asleep and looked in the mirror and realized that all my flaws were there and that I loved them. And I told everyone I came across: I saw my flaws in a dream in a mirror and I love them. In real life I texted my daughter Perri and she said, I love all your flaws too, mom. The best.
