#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Holy Week, Monday
Moon and stars in the very very early morning and mild air. Outside at 2:30 a.m. with my daughter and Chippie who had a stomach ache. He ate something and was struggling. My daughter woke me worried and in the yard we worried together until he started to feel better. Chat gpt helped us identify the problem in his gut. Then, I was so so happy to be back in my bed! And Frank, up early to travel, did the next shift. I walked and quickly tweaked my poem, sent it off. Wave home and a day off from school. Happy house with a child’s voice. I had poetry workshop and also a lovely lunch with a new poet friend who drove down from Gloucester. Only a few puppy and boy interruptions of our lovely conversation. Wave is huge. He is growing like crazy and so is the puppy. He was outdoors in the late afternoon with me and a bare chest, bare feet. Summer in the air just a bit. And poetry workshop again tonight. Poem getting good feedback. Tomorrow the manuscript goes out. Working on the bridal shower for my daughter and Easter coming this weekend and there must be an Easter egg hunt. Many eggs to fill. I realize I seem to be doing a Holy Week collage series.
