#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Tonight Before The Rooster Crows Collage
Early April weather, warm, cool, wet, cold, warm. . . I change my clothes three times today. Open the window and then go out and put on a coat. Turn off the heat. Turn heat back on. Spend lots of time outdoors with Chippie. Raking. I walk in the woods and feel the moist air. The earth is loosening and wet. Snow melt. Frank still out of town. I’m the early one up with the pup. I lead my Charles River Writers, hybrid, some here, some online. Frank calls me early as I walk and I remind him it’s April Fool’s Day and something will be coming our way from Franci. Then, shortly after, I get her text: “What do you two think if we postpone the wedding for a year?” I laugh and am seized by a shock of anxiety even though i know it’s a joke! A very quiet week without Frank around. I am continuing with my spontaneous evening holy week collage making. And today is Passover. My Israeli group did not meet. I must prepare the Easter egg hunt for Wave and ask my daughter if we should dye eggs with him on Good Friday.
