A long day, a strange day, the weather of April, changing and changing. The weather of the news, terrible storms. It was snowing lightly when I first looked out. I went into the yard with Chip and the snow stopped and the sun came out and then it was gone again.l All day, off and on.

The time I spent with others in groups was sane time, compassionate time, deep listening and creative energy time. Poetry this morning. I managed to eek out a revision to yesterday’s poem and it was better and I still see how it can be better and I don’t mind that it still can be better and I can keep working on it, that’s what it takes. My Ukrainian friends online was quite meaningful. And I worked on my daughter’s shower and I took Chip for walks and I did some brush clearing by the roughed up river and got nothing in my eye. My eye can see and it doesn’t hurt. Tonight ran my free write and loved being involved with people who brought photos and wrote and shared. The man is crazy and we don’t have to be. Quite an apocalyptic ride, and the surreality of the fact that it’s really happening to us. He really is the crazy man wielding power in desperate and treacherous ways.
