#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Chippie at the Brook
Ooops. Frank up early. Back to bed. And Chippie wouldn’t settle down, so I got up. Tried to take him out into the field for a walk but it turns out he was afraid of the dark. I managed to get him settled and I got a bit more sleep. He’s growing like crazy. Kind of day when I could get some tasks behind me and feel relief. No time to write, but I ran critique group, especially satisfying, then Israeli group, then a client. Got some time trimming brush. Frank complimented me this morning because he saw out the window the effects of my dead brush and branch clearing across the field. There’s a certain time of early morning when the sun is shining on the river and it sparkles and he could see through the pines the river sparkling in sun. I wanted him to see that moment and appreciate it. Daughter’s bridal shower coming together. Whew! I trust she will be happily surprised. Chippie likes the Trustees trail and trots along, stops at the brook, of course, where Charlie and Suzi always stopped for a drink.
