Beaver Teeth!

Clouds this morning. The heron, always, at the river’s edge. This morning, and tonight. Lots of trips to the river with Chippie. Quiet house, Wave gone. Met with a poetry friend and we discussed each other’s poems and it was so lovely, our exchange. So nice, one-on-one. My eyes on her poem, her eyes on mine. Helpful discussion. Tonight, quiet night with Frank. We took Chippie on errands. He would have preferred staying in the yard, of course, but he’s good in the car. Up early, day trip for wedding plans to Martha’s Vineyard in the morning. A dear friend sends me a surprise package: I’m so happy to receive it!
