#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Evening at the river
The red maple
Today was a special day with Franci. One of our last weekends to spend relaxing time together before the wedding. A lovely spa day, spontaneously. I made myself available and we had most of the day, ending in the late afternoon with me giving her a massage at home to work on the stress in her neck and shoulders. Frank is doing such a great job with Chippie. I enjoy seeing him make time for Chippie, taking him to the river and out to spend time with him in the yard. And, of course, getting up early, that first Chippie 5 am call. I took Chippie to the river early, and then went after dinner with Frank, our ritual. It’s nice to stroll there in the quiet time with the birds singing and the river is calm. Surprisingly, not too many branches down after yesterday’s blustery wind. House a bit quiet Wave home tomorrow. I was thrilled this morning that Chippie gave me enough quiet time to polish and get my AWP Panel proposal for Chicago 2027 in. What a relief! Fingers crossed it will be accepted this year. I know it’s a great proposal. Birdsong outside my bedroom window tonight at dusk. They nest in the tree and sing Frank to sleep.
