#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Laurel in bloom on Farm Pond
Not a good night’s sleep, so I am a slow starter. Mostly, I want to prepare for my writer’s group at 10, and I do that. Chippie doesn’t get a walk with me, and that’s a rarity. He has gone out with Frank. My writer’s group goes very well, as usual, and we have a visitor from Australia who joined in and that was very special. Then Israeli group, and then a client, and then I get myself outdoors. It’s quite hot and lovely. I walk through the woods to Farm Pond for a swim in the late afternoon. The water is fresh and there are very cold and very warn spots. I swim to the dock where my friend used to live, and back, a first longer swim on Farm Pond, instead of indoor laps and I felt great. This lovely laurel bush is in bloom at Farm Pond. I love laurel! I walked home and really felt grateful to gain energy from walk and swim. I picked Wave up tonight and we laughed and laughed all the way home.
