#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
A casual Father’s Day brunch with the three kids and Will who will soon, as Frank said, be another son. The kids brought pastries and we talked wedding planning, not so much about Frank, who was just in from his tennis court and play with his Sunday morning buddies. Al the gowns and shoes, suits, jackets, earrings, necklaces, shawls and Wave’s suits and clothes, all organized and ready to go. Went over the itinerary: ferries, arrivals, rehearsals, dinner, welcome party. Supplies organized, packing items staged. It’s coming together nicely. Wave with his father, so we missed him. He’s home tomorrow. Did my watering of plants in garden. Walked to Farm Pond for my swim in the sunshine of afternoon and had a long talk with one friend and a short talk with another friend and had a lovely swim, the water cool, and walked home. Tweaked my poem. Wrote a draft of something about my grandmother workshop for a newsletter, and worked on my five-minute talk for the wedding ceremony which is coming along nicely. Felt anxious here and there about . . . well, just nothing in particular, and all of it! All of this happiness to digest!
