#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Bride to Be
Late this afternoon we had our nail appointment, me, my two daughters, and Wave. We have a favorite salon nearby. They take good care of us. Getting Wave out the door, he had to come with us, wasn’t easy, but he was an angel once we were there and even got a foot soak and a massage! My daughters and I all had mani-pedies, pre-wedding. Last minute details and organization going well. But, alas, rain or at least showers, are predicted and our venue, of course, is a field. Tents have been planned for food, but my daughter was really really hoping to married in the open air at the edge of Tisbury Great Pond. And now it seems the ceremony might have to be under cover of a tent. Still, there will be a view to the water. We cannot control the weather, but it’s a stress point for the bride. It rained on my wedding to Frank and we had a tent in a field as well. Didn’t effect the happiness of our marriage, and that’s the good news. I have a couple of writing projects I worked on today in the wonderful rain, it rained at least lightly most of the day and there’s no need to complain of this rain at all, it’s so much needed and makes all the growing things so pretty. I led my Tuesday night writers tonight, and family members kept coming to my door and waving - pointing. There was a rainbow just before dusk. Tomorrow, last day before we leave. Lots to do and lots of happiness too.
