The weather is amazing. Every day, sunshine and warmth. Today I rose early and biked to my friend’s house and we walked to the beach from there. Even though she lives in San Francisco now, we are happily reminded of the time when she lived a few minutes bike ride away and we’d walk and swim in the morning. We are getting a re-do, happily. Surf to rough for us to venture in, but the walking part was terrific. The beginning of a busy, happy vacation day. Played pickle with Franci and Will, and what do you know—they are just the same as before the marriage! And we beat them twice in the hot sun! Tonight, a sweet dinner at my brother’s house in Oak Bluffs, and a great chance to visit with my sister-in-law, nieces and nephews. My son is coming back by ferry tonight, plus friends of my daughters, so the house fills again and this wedding week continues in all great good fortune.
