Franci and Frank, Arrival at the Wedding

Day starting in the usual wonderful way: my coffee, then walk to the beach. It was a light fog and wind this morning. The surf at South Beach very rough. I didn’t want to suggest Wave meet me there - not safe for playing in surf. I picked up trash washed in along the beach, mostly plastic. So much of it! Walked through the Farm Institute on the way back, the fog had cleared. Household rising slowly. All of to various activities until we all went to Chappaquiddick Island for the afternoon in Frank’s bronco over the sand. Very calm surf and we sat in sun, swam, and made pizzas for dinner on the grill in the usual way. A quiet and happy vacation day. The florist took this picture of Franci arriving at the wedding with her father after handing her this bouquet. One of my favorite pictures so far. Such a happy day!
